GIVE US THREE STEPS
The Song You are hearing is Lynyrd Skynyrd's Gimme Three Steps

In the Summer of 1989 I was at family reunion in Vermont.  There were these three teen-age bullies that started fights with and tried to hit me with their bikes.  My Uncle Durbin helped me out by telling them that he just been released from prison because he killed anyone who picked on his nephews.  So I took the Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced Len-nerd Skin-nerd) song
Gimme Three Steps and changed the lyrics to tell the story about it:

I was back in Vermont
Goin' for a walk on a hike
When three bullies approached me on their bikes.
I was feeling lots of fright
But I saw my Uncle Durbin
And I knew he'd make everything all right.
He said, "Hey there you three,
I don't like what I see,
What's the matter with you?
'Cause that's my nephew there
And I'm an uncle who cares
And this might be the end for you."

He said "I just got out of jail
For killing those who picked on my nephews.
And when I'm through with you
I'll bury under the ground
In the amount of feet that's three times two."
They said, "Listen to us, Durbin,
We're not going to hurt him.
We're scared to death of you.
You see our pants are soakin'
Because we know you're not jokin'
And we have one question to you."

"Won't you give us three steps,
Give us three steps, Durbin,
Give us three steps towards our home?
Give us three steps
Give us three steps, Durbin,
And we'll leave your nephew alone!"

Well I was happy to say
That those jerks went away
And Uncle Durbin Saved the Day!
When he saw my bruises
He blew his fuses
Because he was angry to see those abuses.
When he took them to a giant rock
And told them that was going to be their tombstone.
We could hear them screaming for miles away
As they were running fast towards their home.

"Won't you give us three steps,
Give us three steps, Durbin,
Give us three steps towards our home?
Give us three steps
Give us three steps, Durbin,
And we'll leave your nephew alone!"
