To write for you
A poem from the heart
Making my feelings true
I wonder where you are
What you're up to
Cos knowing I'm not there
Tears my heart in two
Though I've not known you long
You're still so close
You've got to me inside
More-so than most
You gave to my life
The most precious thing
The urge to keep going
And break through everything
To you I owe my life
My love and heart
Cos I feel you've been here
