All my life I've known of His presence Been told everything of His power But has He ever done anything for me? Has He shown me His infinite power and wisdom?
I have to answer that question with truth The whole truth and nothing but the truth So help me God The answer is yes
I may not live my life the way He wishes But I know He has a plan for me He's opened doors for me and closed others Just so I'd take the route He's mapped out
He's got me out of tricky situations Heard my cries when I've been alone Brought me through hell and high water Just what did I do to deserve His aid?
I can't promise anything I don't know how to give my life away Just as long as He knows what I'm doing I know I'll be okay
