Looking to the sky, the rain falling on you
I knew you weren't the only one
But alone was how you felt
You thought you found the answer in your tears
You cried to fly, just fly away
But nothing ever comes that easily
I tried my best to cloud my own feelings
My own judgement rained upon your heart
Stealing what thoughts you had, making them my own
Each second you were trapped by pain
You held on to me, and I let you
Because I was your lifeline
Time was like a knife for you
The longer you held on, the deeper the wound
For both you and I, as one
But now, time stands alone, our paths have uncrossed
You won't die, nor shall I
For your soul is now a part of mine
