Eternal Sleep

Falling asleep for the last time
I feel somewhat afraid
Knowing I will never feel
The sun upon my face each morning
I am afraid that I will never see
The face of the one I love
His countenance comforts me in my waking hours
But yes, now is the time to go

Although, in my dreamland he is there
I watch his eyes glisten in the moonlight
My smile widens as he moves towards me
And I feel no more fear
I am content to never again awaken
Because his face follows me wherever I go
And whatever I do, his love is with me
Because I am his eternally in my dreams
