Chainmail

Uphold the honour of a warrior
Take your sword and defeat your enemy
But just who is your enemy, sir?
The one who wronged you or your fellow man?
The one you do not know?
Or the one closest to your heart
Your wife
The one who takes this pen
Believing it to be mightier than your sword
Though yours claims victory over mine
Your ink and wax binds me to you
And I lose control of my heart
Like I was never the keeper
But I must challenge you, feared master
Allow me to take up my sword
Join you in battle
And may the most honourable
Remain victorious
