Here are some OF MY FAVORITE AIRCRAFT...

This is Hasegawa's 1/48th Nakajima KI-27 Type 97 Nate from the 59th Flight Regiment.

It was built Out-of-the-box, showing heavy weathering after years of combat on China. Displayed on Verlinden's 1/48 Airfield Tarmac.

Supermarine Spitfire MKII NK-K Spitfire IIA, P7966, of no. 118 sqn, flown by Pilot Officer A.S.C.Lumsden. Stationed at Ibsley, May 1941. This particular Spitfire was presented to the R.A.F. by the people of the Borough of Lambeth through public subscription.

It was build out-of-the-box, finished with Model Master Colors, FS 34079 Dark Green, FS 30219 Dark Tan with 1233 Flat Light Aircraft Gray for the underside.

A coat of Glosscote was applied before applying the decals using a little amount of Microsol. Decals were applied without much problems. Weathering was applied using Artist acrylic Charcoal Gray diluted with isopropyl alcohol and applied with a flat brush. Black pastel chalk was applied on the wings and around the stacks and cowling.
