Interviews
Interview with Daemonium (Lycanthroad band) to Defending Throne of Evil! 2- So have you got any MP3's people can download or cd's people can buy? if no will you have anytime soon?
?
At present we do not have anything other than a few recorded guitar parts and some keyboard tracks for TOMB. We are planning to record within a months time on a four track, all the better for our nasty shit. MP3s, tapes, cds and other audio representatives of our albums will be available as soon as possible. The mp3s will be available on our website.
3.- Is there any plans for some live gig's or a tour?
We have plans for a one off gig at a venue near to our hometown. As the metal scene is pretty poor in our area, it would make sense to play gigs in areas with a more established metal scene. However, outside commitments and lack of finance have been hampering us lately. A UK tour after the release of our albums? Possibly.
4- Will you mix any other styles of music in with your band(S)?
Lycanthroat plays a mixture of death and black metal to be honest. Our vocal & drum work is black metal style but our guitars can be seen as death metal. My own vocals are borderline death metal as well. I guess we shall see once the album is recorded.
5- What bands have influenced you?
For Lycanthroat the main influences have been fast black metal bands such as early Dark Funeral, Marduk and early Emperor. For TOMB I have been influenced by Burzum greatly and Normandia is influenced by several classic doom metal bands.
6- Will you be sending demo's off to labels and magazines? (silly question)
We will be releasing any demos or albums from our own record label which we hope to have set up very soon. If this venture proves unsuccessful we will resort to sending our demos to labels and magazines in the hope they hate what they hear which is our main intention.
7- Have you got a site anyone can contact you at and ask you random shit?
Yes, we operate a website known as the Dark Metal Crypt http://www.darkmetal.org.uk. Here you can find sites dedicated to our bands, our contacts, a message board to ask us questions and other shit. We feel proud about the website as we designed and programmed everything on it ourselves.
If you have any more questions (please send more, ive only scraped the iceberg ;) ) before you show it off to everyone, send them my way please.
Cheers,
Demonium

Hail great brother!!!
1- Tell us the history behind your band(s)??
Lycanthroat began back in early 2002. Originally the band was comprised of D Ceased (bass) and myself (vocals, guitars and drums). D Ceased and myself have been friends for many years and, although having different musical tastes overall, we decided to collaborate on a black metal project. Shortly after, Valefar took the reins of the guitar position and I relegated myself to the position of vocalist and drummer. We began writing songs like wildfire and soon enough we had enough material to record an album. We then hit a few obstacles along the way which has delayed our recording to this day. A fourth member (he has decided to leave choosing a name until we record) joined the band as a part time guitarist. Around this time, I found myself writing songs for Lycanthroat which did not seem appropriate for the band. My solo project of TOMB was born at this point. Valefar had also been thinking of a solo project and created his band Normandia.
