| "So what did Alex do to make you so upset?" "Do you like him," Ryan asked as he entered the hotel hallway and shut the door behind him. Cassie and Missy were plasered against the door to their room next door, trying to listen to their conversation. "Yea, I love him, but not like I love you. I love him like a brother. He was my first best friend, and now were best friends again. What's the problem?" "He likes you more than just a sister, Aubree." "No he doesn't." "Yea, he does. I can tell. He really does and that is what I'm mad about." "But why," she asked as she took his hands into hers. "I don't know." He turned to her room, hearing some noises. Aubree turned his attention back to her. "Nothing is going to happen, Ry. I'm with you and I'm not going to leave you. I love you too much." Cassie and Missy awed in silence and returned back to their beds as they heard Ryan's door shut and their door start to open. Aubree smiled as she entered the bathroom to brush her teeth. Cassie looked to Missy, who nodded. "So that AJ is really cute," Missy said loud enough for Aubree to hear. "I think I might want a piece of that." Aubree stuck her head out the door. "What?!?" "I like AJ, would you mind if I asked him out?" She laughed. "You're asking me? You're asking me?" "I am asking you." "Why would you need ot ask me?" She giggled and finished brushing her teeth. Cassie whispered to Missy, "She likes him." "Because you like him too, Bree." Aubree emerged from the bathroom and headed for her bed without eye contact with the girls. "He's like a brother," she stated as she climbed into her bed. "I don't like him." "You won't mind if we go out?" "No." "You won't mind if we kiss?" "No." "You won't mind if we..." "No!
