| Aubree packed all she could into 4 suitcases. She was moving to Orlando but was going to be living with 5 other people in two hotel rooms, so she didn't want to bring everything. The 6 dancers dancers met Jake at the airport terminal. As the gate opened, they all gathered to board the plane. "Hey, Ry, do you know who these guys are," Aubree questioned with much irritation. "You haven't heard of them?" "I don't even know what their name is." "Backstreet Boys." She shivered at the name and grunted, "Always the last one to know. What's their names?" "Uh, I think its Kevin and Brian, Nick and Howie, and...umm...DJ or AJ or something." She gave her ticket to the lady and followed Ryan down the terminal. "So they're like a boy band type boy band?" "If there is such a thing," Ryan chuckled. He loved it when she would make up new meanings. They sat down in their seats, next to each other. "You know what I mean. Like girls screaming, crying, fainting. Beetles type stuff." "I guess so. Why?" She put her hands in his and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I just want to know what I'm getting myself into." ~*~*~*~ "So when are the rest of the dancers going to be here," Kevin asked looking at the group of huddled up girls and a few guys. "They should be here any minute," Howie said looking at his watch. "Their plane must have been late." "They're going to practice right after their flight," Nick asked. "Don't they have to wait like 30 minutes or something?" "Nick. This isn't swim class," Kevin informed. "They're probably not going to dance. Its probably going to be like a meeting." "So why are the other dancers here?" "So everyone can get to know each other." AJ turned his hat backward and took his sunglasses off as he visually approved of the female dancers picked. ~*~*~*~ Aubree and Ryan found the dance studio before the others got off the bus. They opened the doors slowly and found everyone just standing around. They watched everyone goof off, stretch, and keep busy while their group showed up. Aubree looked about the room. "Are they the band," she whispered to Ryan. "I think so." She observed each one, trying to turn over a new leaf of the boy band phobia she has. One guy stood out: AJ. Her heart beat started to race, her face turned white, she saw her old friend. "Alex?!" Chapter 3 Featured Stories Main Page |
