| "Yo bartender! Send another my way!" AJ left the hotel 3 hours ago and had been at the bar most of the time making it 1:30 in the morning. "Nein!" "Nein? What? Nine dollars? No way man. This is only my...uh..." He looked at his hands and began to struggle as he counted with his fingers. He stopped as he got to his third finger and held up and out his hand. "Fifth!" "No more." The bartender struggled for the English words. "You done." "Man this is fucked." Two big men came from the back and escorted AJ to the exit. "I'm just trying to relieve some stress. My girl won't fuckin come see me, and I'm missing her like I'm going insane." They pushed him out of the door and without notice he began to walk down the dark street. He stopped at a phone and began to push numbers. With each button he pushed he mimic the tone that came from it. "Hello?" "Uh oh. Its the call. Hello? Hey what's up baby its me." "AJ? Oh my God AJ. Where are you?" "What was that? I can't hear you. My battery must be cutting out." "AJ quit playing. Where are you?" "In a phone booth I think. Yea it has glass walls and phone. So bingo!" "Where is the phonebooth? What street?" "Its on a sidewalk. Let me go find out what street..." "AJ..." "No, hold on." He dropped the phone and began to run circles around the phone booth. "What street am I on?" He went back into the booth. "Dillan?" "Did you see the street name?" "Yea but its something like Jinglehimersmit. Isn't that a song?" He started trailing off on singing the song. "John Jacob Jinglehimersmit. That's my name too..." "AJ!" Dillan was become very angry. "Tell me where you are DAMN IT!" "Whoa." He covered the phone with his hand near his mouth and whispered, "Is it that time of the month, Dillan?" She growled. "Just tell me what is around you, please. I'm very worried." "Why didn't you ask me that in the first place? There is a McDonald's, which I wish was open, a gas station, and something that looks like a mall." "Okay, stay where you are and don't leave unless its with someone from your staff." "Alright," he said in a serious voice. "And Dill, make them hurry. I'm not feeling so good." She hung up the phone and called Brian back. He had called her earlier to inform her off AJ's disappearance. "Brian, he's called. He is very very drunk. He doesn't know what street he's on but he says there's a McDonald's, a gas station, and what looks like a mall near him." "Alright. Thanks, Dill. That will help up a lot." "And Bri, find him soon. He said he wasn't feeling good, and I've got a really bad feeling now. Call me when you find him." "Don't worry. He'll be okay." She put the phone down on the coffee table and layed her head back on the couch and fell asleep. Almost two hours later, the phone woke Dillan up very violently. "Hello?" "Dillan. Its Brian. We found him." "Oh my gosh B thank you so much. Is he okay?" "I don't want you to be scared but I think its best that you get a flight over here as soon as you can. We're not for sure what had happened, but the doctor says AJ's liver might have not been able to hold all the liquor so it failed." Tears came rushing down her face and her words barely came past her lips. "I'll be there." Chapter 25 Featured Stories Main Page |
