CHAPTER 16
"This is Bone Daddy. What's your beef?"

"Hey Mom, its Dillan." Both AJ and Dillan were at the police station getting in contact with the outside world.

"No, we're in a place for now until they catch the guy. And no I can't tell ya."

"Yea, we're fine; I'm fine. The detective here has given us a safe place."

"How's everything going with you and Leighanne?"

"How's my cat doing?"

"What? Why? Is it possible they can ask for it this quick?"

"Is he okay?"

"Well, what about Dillan? Do I take her too?"

"Okay, Mom. Love you too. I'll call you tomorrow."

"Man, this is shit!"

"Bye," Dillan said softly, almost scared at why AJ yelled.

AJ looked at her without a change in facial expression. He covered his phone, "We have to go to Germany." He got back to talking to Brian. "So when do we fly out? Tonight?! Man, this is so fucked. Alright. I'll meet you at your house at 9. Late." He hit the end button and stuffed his phone in his pocket and sat back down next to Dillan on the couch.  He took her hand in his and just placed it on his leg.

"Why do we have to go?" Dillan felt almost like a child on a road trip asking to go to the bathroom.

"Something happened with the vocals when we recorded at the beginning of the summer. The whole studio in New York got jacked up. So they are flying us all to Germany to record when I think that we can just do it here in Orlando. I don't see why we have to fly across the stupid ocean just to get better vocal sounds. Its crap! I normally wouldn't drag you over there, babe, but with all that's happening now, I don't want to leave your side. Where is the fuckin detective so I can tell him what's up?"

~*~*~*~

The detective wasn't pleased with their sudden departure but promised an extra bodyguard for Dillan on the trip. The flight to Germany was a short one for Dillan. She had rigged it so that she stayed up all night and would sleep on the plane.

About mid-flight, she stepped out to go to the bathroom. The only lights on the plane were those of people reading and small over head and isle lights. Coming from the bathroom was the hard part. Dillan forgot where she sat. She took an over-view of the cabin and a light turned on. She looked at the person in the seat and she thought it was her stalker. She froze in her steps and he came towards her. "Dillan." A tear fell down her cheek. "Dillan." She collasped to the floor. "Dillan." She closed her eyes just before her stalker reached for her body. "Dillan, wake up baby. We're decending." She awoke with a jump. "You okay," AJ asked before he kissed her. "Why the tear?"

She wiped away the cold tear still on her cheek and took a deep breath. "Did I get up while I was asleep?"

"Umm, no."

She buckled her seat belt and put her head on AJ's shoulder. "He not going to be going away for a while, J. Even if he's gonna be in jail. I'm still going to have nightmares about him."

"You sure they're nightmares and not wet dreams?" AJ laughed hard.

"AJ," she yelled as she punched him in his arm.

"Sorry, babe, sorry." He rubbed his arm and put her head back on his shoulder. "Did you have one while you were asleep?"

"Yea. I dreamt he was in the cabin with us. I didn't do anything. He kept calling my name and I just froze, had a tear fall down my cheek, and then I collasped onto the floor. And just before he got to me I closed my eyes. And then you woke me up." She looked over at the guard next to her. "How are you doing, Baker?"

He yawned, "Never thought a flight over sea would be this long. Thank god its almost over."

"I appreciate you for coming all this way with us."

"Hey its a free trip to Germany. Plus that psycho of yours is too stupid to come here and mess with you as long as I'm here." They all three laughed.
