When all the trees begin to change
It is fun to wander the woods and
see how things rearrange
The nuts are falling every day
and the squirrels are scurrying
to do their hiding
Because winter is on its way

The geese are flying overhead
looking for a warmer home
The ground hog begins to look for a bed
Sure glad I don't have to roam

Even the colors in the sky take on a
different glow
The stars begin to tell us a cold night is upon us
Jack Frost's true colors have begun to show
Warmer blankets are for us.

Hope is a ray of sunlight beam
Hope is the main life seed
Hope leads toward everyone's dream
on a cold wintery day
I long for a rainbow
to make it not so gray
The wind is howling
calling for snow not rain.
The leaves are tumbling and blowing
toward my window pane
Lo and behold as I gaze outside
I glance toward the bird bath
and there perched side by side
and scattered along the path
are birds of all colors
showing me a beautiful rainbow
with their many different colors
What a picture I view from my window!
Love can make you blue
Love is full of sun
Love is always new
