Poems By Tara
Dads
Dads are nice
They can be mean
But think twice
Because they are not mean
You can have fun
And play in the sun
They might be boys
But they are fun!
Love
Love is special
No doubt it is fun
We love every thing
And we sing love!
So much stuff
What do I do?
I guess I just
Will have love in me
Winter
Winter is coming!
Birds aren't singing!
I"m getting cold!
There is nothing to hold!
Summer is leaving!
We will have fun!
But miss the sun!
The leaves have been raked!
The cookies have been baked!
Now we can all go skate on the pond.
And sing this grateful song!
1,2 I love you
3,4 I love you more
5, 6, I don't want to be sick
7,8, I don't hate
9, 10, lets sing this song again!
Missouri
Missouri is the best!
No doubt you can't rest!
But I love Missouri
You do too, I love you
And you love me!

We will have fun
And play in the sun
You might be old
But you have been told
I love You!

Missouri in the winter I know is cold!
But you have been told!
You are alright if you stay in the light!

I love you so much!
You are my Grandma
and we love each other

Tara is a joy to be around.  She has always had insight into things that are uncanny for a child.  You feel like she is an old soul at times.  Always asking questions.  She loves animals, cats, dogs and horses especially.  She loves to draw and is really very good at it.  Along with her poems she writes essays or stories.  I have one piece that she has written with pictures of what she wants her home to look like when she grows up.  A day with Tara is never dull.
Haunted Poem
It's Halloween
The wiches fly on their brooms in the sky
House to house we go
We walk low while witches and ghosts fly high
The witches fly down and we see a clown
Black and orange everyone wears
Everyone glared
And everyone was full of fears.
While I walk down the lane
I see people with fangs.
Candy corn dance in my head
But then it was time for the ghouls to go to bed,
