| I know this pen looks just a little old and worn out, it really is a nice cage. It very big, measuring 8' long, 4' wide and about 2' tall. It also stands on about 2.5' legs. This large cage houses alot of my juvenile birds that range in age from 8 weeks to 3 or 4 months. It used to have tin around the bottom, but the last time we moved it, the two ends' tin came off. Oh well, it is doing just now without them. :) | |||||||||||||
| This is the same cage as above. The framework for this cage is made of treated 2x4s and the legs are made of landscaping timbers. The sides, bottom, and top are all covered with 1/2" X 1/2" hardware cloth (welded wire). | |||||||||||||
| These are some of my breeding program chicks that are in the process of hatching. During the last 3 days of incubation, I always put that small tub of water in the corner of the incubator to keep extra humidity in the incubator to keep the membrane from sticking to the chick while it tries to hatch. | |||||||||||||
