Episode 2

Sakura's Wonderful Friend

Sakura is still sleeping. A voice is calling her name to wake her up. Still sleepy, she wonders who the voice belongs to. She wonders if the voice come from the TV, but it is not on. So she looks up and sees Cerberus's head, very close to her. And she screams (both of them, actually). Thinking about this strange creature, Cerberus has to knock her head several times to get her back to her sense. Then she remembers everything about yesterday. Cerberus then draws the curtains out and calls Sakura "Cardcaptor Sakura". But Sakura says she doesn't fit being one. So Cerberus takes the Clow Book and shows Sakura the Card she caught last night, the Fly Card. Then a voice comes from downstair telling that the breakfast is ready.

Sakura greets her brother. Feeling strange that Sakura comes down so fast, Touya reckons it's going to rain today. Sakura says that there was someone woke her up but she changes her words again that her alarm clock woke her. Touya leavs her at that. Sakura, then, greets her mother. And then her father enters the room. Both she and Touya greet him. Fujitaka comments about this morning's delicious breakfast, Touya says that his breakfast is much more delicious than monster's (Sakura's) made, so she stumps him on the foot. They eat together and Sakura finishes her breakfast quite fast. She says she has cleaning duty this morning. On the way back to her room, Sakura nicks some cookies and gives them to Cerberus.

Sakura tells Cerberus she is ready to leave for school and he is allowed to watch to TV once her brother and father go. Cerberus asks whether Sakura's father is still in school. Sakura says that her father is a professor at a university. She warns Cerberus not to leave the house or else people would be surprised. Then she looks at her alarm clock and realizes it is time for her to leave.

Going earlier than Touya, Sakura takes a different directon - passing Yukito's house. She stops there for a moment, wishing to meet him, but he seems not to be around. When suddenly, out of the bushes Yukito comes out, surprising Sakura. Asking about hes needs, Yukito, then, gives Sakura some flowers to decorate her class. Sakura takes a leave and think what a beautiful day today is.

Sakura arrives earlier in her class. A moment later, Tomoyo comes and tells Sakura she has something to show to her. She puts her handycam on the table saying she recorded something beautiful last night, and turns it on. The video shows a very small picture that takes Sakura's attention quite fast. She wonders what it was, so Tomoyo replays the video once again with zoom-in. It is now more clearly that Salura sees herself in the video flying on a winged staff and a creature is flying beside her. Surprised, Sakura screams. And Cerberus comes out of Sakura's bag, asking where the Clow Card is. Then he realizes Tomoyo is watching the two of them.

It is now lunchbreak. Sakura asks why Cerberus came with her and Cerberus says he wants to know more about the Cardcaptor's life. Tomoyo asks Sakura whether she will introduces her to Cerberus. Tomoyo comments that he doesn't look like Cerberus (the three headed guardian dog in mythology). Sakura says it will fit Cerberus to call him "Kero-chan" and Tomoyo agrees. However, Kero refuses to be called such lame name. He is proud of being the guardian of Clow Cards. Hearing this name, Tomoyo wonders what a Clow Cards are.

Meanwhile in the yard, a bunch of boys are playing ball. At some particular moment, the shadow of one of the boys moves away.

Back to Sakura and friends, Cerberus has finished explaining to Tomoyo. Tomoyo , then asks Sakura to show her magic. She also asks whether Sakura has particular pose. Tomoyo seems very excited about Sakura having magic power.

The school is over. Again, shadows of some students move away on their own will. The next day, all students find their school in a state of chaos. Someone or something has put desks, chairs and everything on top of another. So the students have to clean the classes and havea day off.

In Sakura's house, SAkura, Tomoyo, ans Kero are discussing about this event. Tomoyo wonders if Clow Card is behind all this. Kero agrees and says they need to check the school when the night comes. Sakura says she is afraid of school at night but Kero says some Cards take action at night. Tomoyo calms Sakura and says she will also come to school to accompany her AND to videotape Sakura's action.

Night comes. Sakura has arrived with Kero. Soon enough, Tomoyo comes accompanies by her bodyguards. After they greet each other, the bodyguards leave. Tomoyo takes Sakura to her van and shows her what inside it. Inside, there are a lot of costumes, hats, shoes. Tomoyo says when you're having special occasion you need to have appropriate costume to wear.

While Tomoyo is videotaping Saura and Kero, Sakura hears a sound. She looks at the schoolyard, what the sound was. Then a statue flies to them. it moves on its own way but Tomoyo sees a shadow is holding it up. That shadow, then, throws the statue to them. More shadows come and they are going to Sakura's direction. Sakura tell Kero to guard Tomoyo. Sakura uses her magic and she lets out the Wind Card. But it is useless, the Wind Card cannont catch the shadow. The shadow goes toward Sakura but she flies. However, the shadow can grab her staff and throw her in the air.

Seeing this, Kero is stress they don't have enough light to light the shadow. Tomoyo calms him and asks Kero to leave it to her. Meanwhile, the shadow throws Sakura with some desks and chairs. She is very confused. Suddenly, one by one, each classroom turns on its lamps, showering the yard with their lights. All shadows disappear, leaving the only evil shadow. Thanking Tomoyo for her help, Sakura is now free to capture the evil one. She seals it into the Shadow Card.

The next day, Sakura is carrying a package. She is looking for Tomoyo. She asks Chiharu and she says the last time she saw Tomoyo, she was in the Video Room. So, Sakura goes there. Sure enough, she finds Tomoyo watching a video. But what video is it ? It is the video Tomoyo took last night of Sakura's action. Tomoyo is watching the video with starry eyes, while Sakura can only sweatdrop and smile.
