ouya is Sakura's older brother. He goes to Seijou Senior Highschool and is in his second grade. Although he likes teasing his sister (calling her "kaijuu" that means monster, which really annoys Sakura), deep inside Touya really cares about his little sister. He does not even want other boys to get near to her, except his best friend, Yukito.

Touya inherits their mother's power which is seeing supernatural things. He could meet and talk to their deceased mother when he was a little boy himself, and he can sense whenever Sakura is in danger. Finding part-time jobs in places that Sakura comes to, is one way of keeping an eye on her (I think).
