omoyo is Sakura's best friend since they were in grade 3. She is beautiful, clever and rich. Tomoyo is the only person who knows about Sakura's side activity of capturing the Clow Cards, and she is very happy about this (so she can always be near Sakura all the time).

Whenever there is a chance of watching Sakura capturing the Clow Cards, Tomoyo will try her best of video-taping Sakura's action. She is also the one who makes all of Sakura's battle costumes. Although her appearance in the battles often goes unnoticed, Tomoyo always gives support to Sakura and she sometimes comes with the idea of how to catch the Clow Cards (Sakura really has to thank her for this).
