ero is the irresponsible guardian of Clow Cards. While guarding the Cards, he falls asleep, thus set the Cards free. After Sakura opens the Clow Book, he asks for her help to gather the Cards and makes her a cardcaptor, although Sakura has refused.

Living with Sakura has been quite a fortune for Kero since he likes eating very much, especially sweets and cookies (since Sakura's father is good at cooking and Sakura sometimes sneaks some food for him). Although his first meeting with Sakura is not good enough, the two of them have gathered some respect toward each other. Kero always helps Sakura to capture the Clow Cards with the knowledge that he has about them.
