erberus is the guardian of the Clow Cards. He is responsible for the Sun. This is Kero-chan in his true form. There are two differences abouth how Kero changes into his true form :
In manga, Kero can change into his true form after Sakura manages to capture the Fire Card. And then he helps Sakura to catch the Earth Card.
In anime, however, Kero changes only after Sakura captures both of the Cards
