Every solitary day of her life she practiced lovingly her lessons of love.
Standing 4'7" high, she had the patience of Job.
In the days long before womens liberaton, she "single handedly" owned/operated her 4 floor rooming-boarding house in Ocean City, N.J.
She always kept
"The Prayer Of Serenity"hanging on her kitchen wall or a table. Her Bible was always by her side.
How blessed and fortunate we are to have received the heritage she handed down to us.

She loved playing hymns on her organ and quite often hummed or sang her favorite hymn "In The Garden" while doing her housework or sewing clothes for her family.
Below are the words to this beautiful hymn.
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses;
And the voice I hear,
Falling on my ear;
The Son of God discloses.
He speaks, And the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody That he gave to me,
With in my heart is ringing.
I'd stay in the garden with Him,
Tho' the night a-round me be falling,
But he bids me go; Thru the voice of woe,
His voice to me is calling.
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
