Physically and neurologically challenged, when Juneann's son Wesley was a young teenager, she entered our local college (Atlantic Community College, N.J.) and earned her BA in sociology. She also earned several diplomas from her church and also online Bible courses. In 1998 June uprooted her family, (hubby Rene - legally blind and kidney dialysis, son Wesley - teenager) and moved to Denver Co. where her sister Gayle lives. A main reason was her yearning to live near the mountains and the clean mountain air.
During her 1998-1999 residency in Denver Co. she dedicated herself to her mission as "Peer Advocate" for the physically challenged.
She also enjoyed surfing the internet in search of personal homepages created by or dedicated to
Our Special SuperStars.

June's Insightful ACM poem. She emailed this to me shortly before she became critically ill in Denver Co.
A special blessing: the night before June took a final turn for the worse, we chatted on the phone from N.J. to Co. Our last spoken words were "I love you". Always leave loved ones with special thoughts. You'll be happy you did.

Kitten
"Chestina" is adopted from
Wendy's Place

She's an exact clone of the kitten that was cuddled and transported from hospital to hospital, and whereever else she happened to go too.
Chestina flew home from Co. with me and has her very own place of honor on top of my antiquish inherited organ.

Disclaimer: A lot of graphics you might find here were collected from about 1998 and fortunately stored onto floppy disks. Unfortunately since my computer has changed several times since then, I have searched and not been able to track some of those urls down again. Those that I do know where they came from, I make sure credit is given. Apologies are extended for any inconvenience. Now, if you do know where they "originally" came from, please let me know.
