Welcome to Deer Creek, a 996 acre private community of 29 property owners in the sprawling town of Rio Frio, Texas, (pop. 78).

The annual meeting of the Association took place on June 28, 2008 at 10:30am under the shade of the pecan trees along Kahn Dr. The Meeting Minutes are now available in our members-only section. Don't forget to pay your Membership dues, bridge payment, and road upkeep dues.

The Deer Creek entrance gate card-reader was accidentally struck by a Deer Creek resident's vehicle and is damaged beyond repair. This is an old card-reader and replacing it isn't possible. We are having a new card reader installed, but it requires a different type of card than we currently have. All residents will be given new gate entry cards by our Gatekeep and new President, Marty Crutchfield.

Association members can click here to view our Covenants, Bylaws, Meeting Minutes, Membership Roster, etc.

Several residents have been seen hauling water again. The drought has returned to Rio Frio and shallow wells are drying. But don't worry...we're a day closer to the next rainy day.

The Leakey Star Newspaper is now online for all of our out-of-town members to keep up with what's happening in the Frio Canyon.
