Cosplay sounds like fun, so I thought, heck, why not try it myself? So I am. This year I am cosplaying as Team Magma from pokemon for Halloween!! I am so excited! I'm almost done with the outfit, all I need it the hoodie/ears and the belt. Hell, why not, I'll put up how to do it (it only took me 45 minutes so far because I luckily had all the materials already without knowing^^.
Materials!!
Red hoodie, black pants/skirt/dress (depending on which gender you want to be), red legwarmers, red armwarmers, black fabric, red belt, black shoes (like boots, etc.), black gloves, cat ears.
Let's get started! First, if you don't have armwarmers/legwarmers, you can just cut off the sleeves from the hoodie and use those (you'll have to cut the sleeves anyway), or use the red sleeves from an old sweater/shirt.
Now, get your black fabric. Cut out a mountainous M big enough to fit on the front of the hoodie. Sew it on! Cut out an oval and sew it on the front of the hood. Now snip off the cat ears and sew them onto either side of the hood.
Get ready to snip the hoodie! First cut off the sleeves until the hoodie is short-sleeved. Now cut the sleeves into NNNN shapes (you can also do this to the back). Now Cut enough off the bottom of the hoodie until you can see your navel.
You're done! Now get dressed! Put on the shirt and bottom first, follow with the belt. Now slip on the arm and leg warmers. Put on the gloves. And now put on the hoodie! Voila! Have fun!^^
