Dear Families,

    We are assigning our first book report for the year.  Students
may use a book that they are reading for their nightly reading
calendar assignment for this report.  Students should complete the
worksheet and write a four paragraph summary of the book.  The
summary should include:

• 1st paragraph - Describe what happened at the beginning of the book.
• 2nd paragraph - Describe what happened in the middle of the book.
• 3rd paragraph - Describe what happened at the end of the book.
• 4th paragraph - Would you recommend this book to other people?
• Why or why not?  (Use specific examples to support your answer.)
