| It was my own experience that led me into a place where I now understand the truth of the words of God when he declared that he not only is willing but desires to heal us of all our suffering and sickness. |
You are going to say to me "I've never seen anyone healed, so it can't be true." or maybe even; "I've seen people healed by God. But he doesn't heal everyone." I am going to tell you that he will always heal if there is nothing to stop Him. |

| healing is ...God's desire ... We were made in his image without sickness and death. It was sin that brought these things into the world. Adam and Eve gave their right to rule over the world to Satan when they sinned and it is this that is the reason for sickness in our lives. When Jesus came he conquered sickness and death, took all our sorrows, sin and pain onto himself. By his death we are healed. It is this message of good news that I bring to you - not religion or good works but God's desire that we accept the work of Jesus on the cross, and that we accept it in its fulness. By faith we are saved, by grace, not of works lest anyone should boast. It is the gift of God that takes away the sins of the world. The chastisement that brings us peace was upon Him. By his stripes we are healed. It is an amazing truth and not one that is fully understood; but we can come to God and he can heal us. He will take all our pain and sorrow away. He knows how to do this and continues to do this in many people's lives. |
| healing is... FOR EVER Unfortunatly some people belive only part of the good news and are content with only a part of what Jesus has to offer them on the cross. Consider the amazing truth that Jesus completely conquered sin and death and all the works of Satan as he conquered death and hell. This ment that he was victorious over sin and sickness. He took all our pain and sorrow away forever. But he can't carry it away if we don't let go of it and trust him to take completely away. In fact we are being rather arrogant if we think we can carry our sickness and pain better than he does. It is hard to belive this truth when our experience has been sickness and pain and Jesus knows this. He made us. He is life and without him nothing was made that was made. Because he knows this he has given us the Holy Spirit to help us.. |
