I died and came back to life...

I had a terrible car accident in which I nearly died. It was the quick and skillful work of the ambulance drivers that saved my life by the roadside. At that time my life nealy left me and as the ambulance raced against time to get me to the hospital my life still hung in the balance. In hospital I was still in extreem danger as I was hooked up to life support systems which took over my breathing and vital functions. I don't know exactly when it happened because I was not at the time even able to open my eyes and look around me but suddenly I found myself leaving my body.
...and into my hospital bed!
The first thing I remember was seeing the clock on the wall. I moved towards it and found myself looking down on my body in the bed. I could hear calling and saw fields with beautiful flowers and long swaying grass. The colours were more beautiful than anything I had ever seen before and there was a wonderful scent difficult to discribe. It was as if the calling came from a distance over the horizon. I knew I had to follow the sounds. They were beautiful sounds and made me feel that it would be a wonderful place. I hurried to get there. I knew it was somewhere I would be loved and wanted. I could feel such a strong presence of love. Then suddenly I knew that I was leaving this life. A man came running towards me across the field with his arms wide open. I could not see his face because it was so bright as if I was looking into the sun on a summers day. He was gestering to me to go back. Then I heared his words. "Not now! Go back! It's not time yet. I want you to go back." I knew I had a choice to make. I knew I could stay if I wanted or I could turn back. It was so beautiful and the promise of so much more that I wanted yet somehow I knew that I had to decide to return. I made that choice and in a flash I was back in my body in the hospital and doctors and nurses were fussing over me. The world I had returned to was terrible and I did not even have the ability to move an eyelid by myself. But I was alive and I knew there was a reason...
