I think the weather can influence the way you going to feel. Today was a warm sunny day and although I was nauseated and threw up a couple of times I had good day overall.
Since I am in hospital there is not much I can do. First of all my energy levels are pretty low so there is only so much I can do.
I try and walk around a couple of times a day. Doctors say that it's good for me. I watch movies, read, listen to music or surf the internet. I look forward to reading e-mails and guestbook entries everyday. It's nice to hear from everybody. But most of the time I end up sleeping.
Low white cell count means higher risk for infections. Today I was started on a drug called Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (GCSF). This drug stimulates the growth of white cells. The quicker my white cells reach normal levels the quicker I get better.
My mouth and throat feels slightly better everyday and the burning sensation in my feet and hands have reduced too.
