Review managers' recommendations for performance appraisals rated less than successful to ensure consistency with organizational precedent and fair employment practices.
Document incidents, conversations, and meetings.
Conduct informal grievance hearings and make recommendations towards resolving employee complaints.
Coordinate formal grievances, attend hearings, record proceedings, and prepare summary reports.
Develop and conduct workshops and training for employees and managers regarding inappropriate workplace behavior, sexual harassment, hiring practices, and EEO compliance.
Maintain current knowledge of employee relations' field through workshops and seminars.
Prepare and update new and existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable EEO laws and regulations.
Monitor legislation related to human resources, and analyze its impact on The University's policies.
Provide assistance on union related issues.
