Friday, December 15
(Adelaide):
West Indian batting legend Brian Lara returned to form with a classy century against Australia in the third test. Lara, who had been out of form in the past two tests and had managed to score in double figures just once in four innings, showed his genius with a timely hundred. He helped West Indies to a solid position against Australia. Lara brought up his hundred on the first day of the test with a knock laced with 16 fours and a six off 140 balls. The 31-year old from Trinidad has fallen to Glenn McGrath thrice in the last two test matches but McGrath had no such luck today as the West Indian batsman was in full flow as he reached his 15th test century |
