HITORI HITORI means "One By One", not "Alone alone". *lol* It just gives me that image wherein there is someone [Kusari] who is physically and spiritually alone, killing people one by one, and in the end kills himself but lives forever, not knowing his purpose..

The CONCEPT, The HISTORY, The CHARACTERS
In the past were two peaceful clans Tenjin and Tokuji. Once, their clan leaders built a special but unknown element, and they died leaving the element to no one. The two clans start to fight over that special element until the first war commenced. Soldiers, weapons, rules and boundaries were created. Mysteriously, a shrine appeared on the boundary between the two clans. The element was inside and scriptures were engraved on it. Their interpretation was: "There will be a child born of Tenjin and Tokuji bloods who will be able to use the element and annihilate both clans." But the war continued, with a second objective to find that child.
There were rules to follow in the war. That couples, after having a descendant, must create a weapon for that child. It was normal for the children to be separated from their parents and siblings, for all adults were required to fight for the clan and the child is not allowed to fight in the war until he or she is 18/7 [Tenjin/Tokuji]. But there was a group of 12 children who fought in the war, for the sake of being reunited with their parents. That is if their parents were still alive.
Current layout:
ATSUI KAZE NO NAKA NI
Since the image used seems to portay light, and since the weather today is totally burning, this layout seems connected with summer. "Atsui kaze" no naka ni means "in the midst of hot wind". Goes well with warm shades. :)
