I was scheduled to be born on 5-24 via c-section @ 12:30pm. Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital @ 10:00am to check in and get prepared for my arrival. Mommy was nervous and shaking like a leaf, but very excited. At 12:15 the nurse comes into the room and tells Daddy to get dressed and takes Mommy to the OR in a wheelchair. They tried 9 times to give Mommy a spinal but her back was to swollen, so they told her that they were going to have to put her out completly and that Daddy couldn't be in there. (That explains not having any pics of me being born). So, the doctors put Mommy out and bring me into the world. We stayed in the hospital for 4 days and came home on May 28th.

June 20....I smile, I can follow an object and I can almost hold my head up. I got my first illness....PINK EYE!

July 23.....I now weigh 11lbs and 12 oz and I'm 23" long. I just got my first shots....2 in each leg and boy did I cry! As soon as they were done I went to mommy and it was all better.

August 29.....I can roll over from tummy to back. I have almost got the back to tummy thing! I "talk" all the time, and I just discovered that I have hands!

September 14.....I can now roll back to tummy. I'm trying to crawl but can't figure out how to get up on my knees. I discovered that I have feet, just not sure how to get a hold of them!

September 29.....I now weigh 14 lbs and 14 oz and am 26 1/2" long. I got a shot at the dr.s and I didn't cry too much. I ate cereal for the first time and it was YUCKY! I didn't like it so mommy had to give me a bottle. I tried it again for dinner and it was a little better, but not much! I guess mommy is going to keep trying!!

December 26....My first Christmas was great! I got a lot of toys and clothes. Before Christmas I tried to open all the presents, then it came time to open them and I didn't want anything to do with them. So my brothers opened my gifts. I like fruits and vegetables and am a little piggy! I say "dada" and "talk" a lot! Some would say like my mommy!!

January 25....I just turned 8 months old! I scoot (that's why my nickname is Scooter) all over the place and get into EVERYTHING I can get my hands on. I have no interest in walking yet, and mommy and daddy like it that way. I am a very happy baby! I especially light up when my brothers are around.
