• A picnic pot-luck BYOB hosted by Ian Currie and Raywyn Erickson at their home in Surrey, B.C.in the latter half of August;
• Fun Bowling event in June - date and venue to be advised.
• Halloween costume pot-luck/BYOB party to be held on the last Saturday of October in Richmond, B.C.;
• Christmas pot-luck tea in early December in Ladner, B.C.;
• New Year's Eve Gala Dance - venue to be decided at a later date.

Following the adjournment of the AGM, members enjoyed a social get-together, sampling a variety of home-cooked tea-time snacks which included mouthwatering green-chutney sandwiches, crisp, fried bhajjias, samosas, Anglo-Indian style banana fritters, scrumptious cookies and a decadent cheese cake.

In honour of St. Patrick's Day - and courtesy of Ian Currie who provided the keyboard accompaniament - everyone joined in an enthusiastic sing-along session which included not only Irish ballads, but a spectrum of old favourites. Then, motivated, by Ian's keyboard talents, the dance-floor beckoned and members twirled to renditions of popular jazz "standards".
