The Devil in the Rocking Chair
A hat of fine fur,
a quilt made of human hair,
socks dirty and full of holes,
all beyond repair.
He's someone's father,
he's someone's dear friend,
but he's full of dead hope
and in the deep end.
He doesn't care about a thing,
he's wearing only one shoe.
He doesn't have any luck,
and he has really no clue.
His head's with the angels,
but his feet aren't there.
He has a child in his freezer,
hung with great care.
He's a superstar.
His life was brief.
He's a lying bastard.
He's a thief.
