Cabinets
She's so very breakable -
replaced on your china cabinet.
A painted smile flips,
unbelievable,
but it's her life.
She's behind the doors,
noone can see inside.
She doesn't mind.
Her life's shared.
She lives and loves above you,
above the fourth shelf,
but below the fifth.
She hovers and waits
deep within the deep
of the cabinet.
Her hear pain,
hear the tin as she sighs,
watch as she falls.
And she is replaced again.
