When the Eyghon started preying on the members of the group he tried to escape by removing his tattoo and placing one on Buffy by force to transfer the scent. In 2000 he returned to cause more chaos to please his God but ended up having a chat with Giles. However when Giles woke up he had become a demon changed by Ethan. As a god she was worshipped by her demon minions and shared a human body with the human Ben. She had unlimited strength, impossible speed and was virtually impossible to kill. She is able to kill anybody and outmatched the Slayer easily. in this world she had to feed on the minds of humans to maintain her sanity, driving them insane instead. She needed the Key which was hidden in the form of Buffy's sister Dawn. The Key had to be used at a certain time and certain place. When she found that Dawn was the Key, she captured her. Using her minions of insane people, they built a tower to the elevation that was needed to open the portal. She tied Dawn up there and was to make her bleed. When the Key's blood flowed it would melt the walls of the dimensions allowing her to return and when they flowed no more the walls would be rebuilt. As the time grew near for her to open the dimensions, the line between her and Ben faded as she began experiencing human emotions. She stopped by Buffy and the Gang when they combined all their efforts to stop her. The portal had to be opened at a certain time and if they delayed her long enough it would not open again. She was weakened by the Dagons Sphere, Willow's spell, Xander's wrecking ball and Buffy until she reverted back to Ben and swore that she would leave them alone. Buffy didn't kill Ben but in secret, Giles came and choked him to death, thus killing Glory as well.

Spike and Xander visited him again to gain information on how to defeat Glory. He warned them about dealing with Glory and told them he knew nothing. But they could tell he was lying. He grabbed the item that would help them and dumped in into the fire, saying that he also worshipped Glory. He used his frog-like tongue to push them away and was eventually stabbed with a sword by Xander. After they left however his eyes popped back open revealing that this demon could not be killed by a simple stabbing. On the night of the ritual, Glory was defeated by Buffy but he was able to get to Dawn. he told her that if Glory couldn't make it, then he would have to do it revealing a sharp knife. He fought with Spike on the tower but easily threw him off. Using the knife he made shallow cuts in Dawn to lengthen the blood flow. After he made the cuts he turned around to see Buffy. Ready to fight he didn't have a chance when she pushed him off without a glance. He fell from the tower and is presumably alive since he is a demon and couldn't even be killed by being stabbed. He then disappeared.
