STRAW HAT BUNNY

Materials:

1 - 10" Straw hat - flat crown
1 - 10" Straw hat - round crown (cut in half so you have 2 hat halves)
White loopy chenille
Pink loopy chenille or pink felt
White acrylic spray paint
Pink acrylic paint, spray or bottle
Wiggly eyes - large
2 - 2" white pom poms (cheeks)
1 - 1/2" pink pom pom (nose)
Scrap of pink felt (mouth)
Scrap of desired fabric or ribbon for bow
Assorted silk flowers, butterflies ect....

Directions:

Spray paint the flat crown hat white.
Let dry & repeat 2 more times.
Spray or sponge paint the half hat pink.
Let dry & repeat 2 more times.
The flat crown of the hat will be the bunny face.
Lay the half hat on the full hat so
you can get the placement of the eyes.
Use hot glue & glue eyes to flat crown
of hat, spacing approx. 1/2" apart.
Glue the 2" white poms below the eyes for cheeks.
Glue the pink pom between the 2 white poms for the nose.
Cut a "U" shape from pink felt.
Glue below the cheeks, centered, for a mouth.
Tie a bow from fabric or ribbon
& glue centered below the face, on the brim.
Glue the half hat to the top of the "head".
Cut 2 - 10" piecess of white loopy chenille & 2 - 8" pieces of pink.
Lay a white & pink side by side,
fold in half with the pink to the inside.
Twist the ends & trim off any fuzzy pieces.
Glue the ears to each side of the pink hat
where the crown meets the brim.
Decorate the hat any way you desire.
Use a plastic hook that comes attached to socks
or a piece of ribbon or a pop can tab for a hanger.
Glue to the back, top of the bunny. HANG & ENJOY!!!!
