

Materials:
A solid & print fabric
Wood spoon
Polyfil
White acrylic paint, tiny bit of orange & pale pink too
Sharpie pen
Baby sock (for hat)
Glue gun & stix
Cardboard for a template
Small grennery or ornaments for decoration.
Raffia
Directions:
Find a stocking pattern you like,
it needs to be at least 8" tall.
Cut 2 templates from cardboard.
Mark off the heel & toe area on 1 template & cut out.
Cut main stocking from fabric, 2 pieces.
Cut heel, toe & a 3" wide cuff from 2nd fabric.
Cuff should be long enough to go
around stocking & overlap approx. 1/2".
Sew/glue heel & tow to one stocking.
Sew/glue stocking around the edge.
Glue on cuff.
Make hat by cutting off sock just above the heel.
Tie off cut end tightly.
Turn up finished edge for a cuff.
Paint spoon white, you may need 2-3 coats.
Glue hat on head.
Refer to pic for face. Use a sharpie for eyes & mouth.
Orange paint for nose.
Pale pink for cheeks if you want them.
Place a bit of poly fill in the bottom of stocking.
Insert handle of spoon & add more polyfil.
Add bits of greenery around snowman, glue in place.
Add a decoration to front of stocking.
Glue a raffia loop inside the center back of stocking & hang!
