Materials needed:
1 pringles can - large or small
2 sheets of wallpaper from a sample book ( I used a print & a solid)
Glue gun & stix
Toothpicks
Spanish moss
Small bird (if desired)
Xacto knife
Directions:
Cut 3 holes in the large can (1 hole in the small)
Cut wallpaper to fit the can (needs to overlap a bit) & tape on. (temporary)
Use a marker or pen & make a dot in the center of each hole.
Remove tape carefully & glue the wallpaper where it overlaps.
Use the xacto knife & cut an X where each hole is.
Place a dot of glue on each tab (from cutting the X),
push to the inside & hold for a few seconds.
Use the very tip of the knife & poke a tiny hole below each hole.
Insert a toothpick in the small hole for a perch.
Poke some spanish moss in each hole & spot glue.
Glue a small bird to one or more of the perches or inside the hole.
For the roof I used a saucer for a template & cut a circle from a solid color wallpaper.
Cut a slit to the center. This will aide in making a cone shape roof.
Pull one side of the wallpaper over the other till you get the look you want.
Glue & hold a few seconds.
Spot glue around the top edge of the birdhouse.
Place the roof on & let set a few seconds.
