Paint the rim of the pot blue, let dry & repeat.
Paint the base of the pot white, let dry & repeat.
Use a star stamp or stencil & make stars around the rim.
Using a 1" foam brush paint red stripes on the base.
When completely dry spray with 2-3 coats of acrylic sealer.
Fill to the rim with sand.
Place a red, white & blue taper candle in the sand.
Light & enjoy!

If you don't want to use candles
poke 6-8 little flags in the pot.
Cover the sand with curly
red, white & blue ribbon.
