
Materials:
Clay pot....any size
Orange, yellow & white acrylic paint
Acrylic spray sealer
Black sharpie pen
Small amount of raffia if desired
Directions:
Base coat pot with white & let dry.
Paint rim of pot yellow, let dry & repeat 2 times.
Turn pot upside down.
Mark 1" down from bottom of pot
in several places. Draw a faint pencil line all around the pot.
Paint middle of pot orange, let dry & repeat 2 times.
Paint last part white, let dry & repeat 2 times.
Spray with 2-3 coats of acrylic sealer, let dry.
Draw face with a pencil.
Trace over & fill in with sharpie.
Dot white paint in eyes using end of paintbrush.
Cut approx. 8 pieces of raffia 4" long.
Fold in half & poke folded end into hole in pot.
OR
You can add some silk fall leaves if desired.
Fold a green pipe cleaner in half,
curl each half around a pencil (tendrils)
& glue fold to bottom of pot.
Arrange leaves around base of tendrils.
