Materials:

Ribbon, wire edged or not
Chenille stems or gold cord
Magnets...optional
Stiff wire...optional
Glue gun & stix

Directions:

Cut 2 pieces of ribbon, 6" long & 5" long.
Bring cut ends to middle & glue just a little to hold.
Pinch the middle of the 6" piece
& the 5" piece & place the middles together.
Hold with a dot of glue.
Fold a chenille stem in half,.
Make a twist about 1" from the fold (tail part).
Spread apart stem & place middle of butterfly against twisted area.
Bring ends together & twist again, tightly.
Cut ends & curl for antennas.
Glue a magnet to the back for a fridgie or glue on a pkg. for decoration.
You can add wire to the body (underneath) for a plant poke too!
