Inuyasha Movie 1 Summary, Toki wo Koeru Omoi (Love that Transcends Time)
The story was begun when the shikon no tama was destroyed and the shikon shard spread to all over the world. One of the shard fell into Menoumaru�s hand, the youkai who was sealed by Inuyasha�s father. He has two followers, Ruri and Hari. They woke up together, and Menoumaru wanted get his father�s power who was sealed by Inuyasha�s father fang. Fo that, he need the same fang, so he told Ruri and Hari to attack Sesshoumaru and also sent a monster to attack Inuyasha.
Sesshoumaru killed Ruri and Hari easily and left them, then Menoumaru came and revived them back and also he realized that the fang who sealed his father was not tenseiga, but tetsusaiga.
At the same time, Kagome cooked a fried egg for Inuyasha and the others. She made a big luch for them. After that, she went to Inuyasha and saw them were fighting with a monster. The monster has a shikon shard, Inuyasha killed him and asked Kagome to take the shard. After that, they had lunch. Inuyasha ate roughly, and Kagome asked to him about fried egg that she made. But Inuyasha ignored her and just ate without saying anything. After all of them finished, Kagome still asked about her fried egg, but then Inuyasha dig up her bag and then took a Ramen mie. Kagome was very very mad and osuwari to him many times until he fell into the ground, then she left. Inuyasha and Shippou followed her too.
and Miroku followed her with carrying her boomerang ( and he was surprised �cause the boomerang was so heavy and Sango always brings it?? ^^ ), and they met two girls that were holding Kirara. They were Ruri and Hari, they attacked Miroku and Sango and said Kirara was sick at that time, she got the poison from the monster before. Sango took care of her, but suddenly Kirara ran into the forest, Sango pursued her that Kirara is theirs. At that time, Kirara was controlled by them because of the poison that she got. Sango was attacked by scorpions and Miroku used his air void to absorb the scorpions, but then Ruri came to him and copied his air void! So Ruri has the same air void like Miroku and she attacked them with it. When they were nearly absorbed, Kaede helped them with her arrow, then Ruri and Hari went away.
In the same time, Kikyou went to Goshinboku and saw the place where she shot Inuyasha, her face was very sad. And Kagome saw her accidentally, Kikyou realized her presence, and Kagome hide from her. But when Kagome looked again, Kikyou has gone away� at other place, Inuyasha saw Kikyou�s sinidamachu, so he ran away to meet her, but he just found Kagome. he asked Kagome if she was alone, and then Kagome realized that he looked for Kikyou. But suddenly many butterflies came and made Kagome sleep. Menoumaru came and attacked them. Kagome was faint, so did Inuyasha. Menoumaru wanted to take tetsusaiga, but he couldn�t touch it, so he kidnapped Kagome and went away.
When Inuyasha woke up, Shippou was with him, then Inuaysha decided to get back Kagome from Menoumaru.
At Menoumaru place, he put a black shikon shard in Kagome�s forehead, and then Kagome woke up. She was angry to Menoumaru and wanted to shoot him with her arrow, but then Menoumaru attacked her and at that time, Inuyasha came to rescue her. Sango and Miroku came too, they all fought together with Menoumaru, Ruri, and Hari. Inuyasha used kaze no kizu to Menoumaru and he didn�t realized that it was a trap. The kaze no kizu broke Inuyasha�s father seal and freed the power of Menoumaru�s father. Menoumaru absorbed that power slowly and become stronger a lot. He attacked Inuyasha groups and all of them were blowed up and got separated.
After Menoumaru absorbed his father�s power, many his butterflies spread around and took the souls of peoples. Kaede protected her village with her power, so butterflies wouldn�t come, and then she found Kagome and Shippou were faint in front of village. At the same time, Sango and Miroku were together with Tanuki in a cave and Miroku used his spell, so the butterflies couldn�t come too. Then they decided to save Kirara and asked Tanuki to escort them ( with forcing of course ^^; ). At the other place, Inuyasha got a bad injuries too and wakled alone with Myouga. Myouga said that he must run away �cause Menoumaru�s power was too strong after he got his father�s power, but Inuyasha didn�t want to do it and he chose to fight. Myouga try to stop him, but he failed, then he decided to accompany Inuyasha.
Kagome woke up at Kaede�s house, she wore a miko outfit. but then Menoumaru began to control her, so then Kagome attacked Kaede and went out. She met Inuyasha on a bridge. Inuyasha was happy to see her, Kagome came to Inuyasha nad then hugged him. Inuyasha was surprised and then he hugged her too, he said sorry to her because he left her alone, but suddenly Kagome attacked her with Menoumaru�s power. They fell and Inuyasha ran, Kagome chased him and kept attacked him until in front of Goshinboku. Inuyasha was hurt badly and couldn�t ran again, he felt like seeing Kikyou shoot him in the past. Then Kagome shot him with an arrow and he got shot and faint. At that time, Kagome�s heart cried and shouted, she was very angry and the shikon shard got out from her forehead. Then she ran to Inuyasha and hugged him with crying and saying sorry for many times. And then Kikyou came to her. She said to Kagome to go home and told her to not to see Inuyasha again. Kagome refused, she said that she wanted to be with Inuyasha, but then Kikyou got angry and said that Kagome was the one who hurt Inuyasha. Then Kikyou took Kagome to the well, she said that the well will be covered with Menoumaru�s power and she must go back before the well was closed, she must go back to her time. Kagome was still in doubt and thought about Inuyasha. Kikyou was mad and said to Kagome to go home because her place was not here. Kikyo was raged and pushed Kagome into the well back to her time and the well was closed.
Kagome awoke in her time , and it was snowing. Kagome saw Inuyasha laying in front of the tree. But then he dissappeared. "I can't reach him any more. My love can't reach him." At the same time, Kikyou wanted to go to Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru came to her. He said if Kikyou hate Kagome that much or she just want to test Kagome�s power. Kikyou said to him that she hate everything that lives.. then Sesshoumaru left her alone.
Miroku and Sango fought with Ruri and Hari. Miroku fought Hari and it was an air void vs air void battle. Miroku shut his air void because he couldn�t hold the power again, Ruri thought that she has won, but then her air void became bigger and sucked her in because she used it too muc, so Miroku won. At other place, Sango fought with Hari and Kirara. In that battle, Sango couldn�t attack Kirara, so she dropped her weapon and started to cry. Her tears affect Kirara and she got her mind back, then Sango and Kirara killed Hari easily.
At the other place, Shippou tried to help Inuyasha, but he couldn�t because there was a barrier around Goshinboku (God Tree), and just someone like Kikyou or Kagome who could break it. At that time, Kikyou who wanted to go to Inuyasha, stopped because she lacked of souls. The souls were absorbed by Menoumaru, so she got no souls for herself ( Oh to bad).
In her world, Kagome could see and contact with Inuyasha through Goshinboku (God Tree), she said that she couldn�t go back because she had hurt Inuyasha.She told him that she was being more trouble than help. Inuyasha stood up and approached Kagome. He told her that she was wrong ," You don't understand. I need you." He grabbed Kagome and hugged her at this time (Did it really happen or was it in her and his head? The world may never know.) She thanked him and she so wanted to go back to Inuyasha�s time. But when she looked the well, it has been covered by Menoumaru�s power, then Inuyasha said to destroy it with her arrow. Kagome took a shikon shard in Goshinboku and back to the well, she shot an arrow and traveled back to Inuyasha�s time. Then Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippou, and Myouga together went to Menoumaru�s place.
After that, they saw Menoumaru become bigger like giant, and he has many of youkai. The youkai attacked Inuyasha group, and then Sango and Miroku came to help. Inuyasha told Kagome to shot Menoumaru�s barrier with her arrow, and then Inuyasha attacked him with kaze no kizu. But it failed. Myouga said that Kagome and Inuyasha must work together to beat Menoumaru, then he escaped ( Surprise Surprise ). Then Kagome tried to attack Menoumaru�s forehead, because his power is centered there. But she failed and the arrow broke one of Menoumaru�s wings. Menoumaru was very angry and attacked Kagome, she fell and helped by Kirara. After that, suddenly Kagome jumped off from Kirara, Inuyasha was confused and caught her. Inuyasha was surprised and asked why she did that, and Kagome said that she knew that Inuyasha would catch her. Miroku who saw it, opened up his arms and shouted to Sango to jump off like Kagome into him ^^ ( pervert! ), Sango threw her pad at him and nailed him in the head.
Then Inuyasha planned to attack him with Bakuryuuha. He told Kagome to attack the barrier again and he would do a Bakuryuuha, but it�s failed again. So Inuyasha asked Kagome to shot Menoumaru�s forehead but this time, he encouraged her. So Kagome gained a very big power in her arrow, then she shot it to Menoumaru forehead along with Inuyasha�s Bakuryuuha. After that, Menoumaru was defeated and dead. ^^
Then Inuyasha group went away with riding Tanuki and the end! ^^.
