Late Policy -- If you are going to be late, please call and let me know.  If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, I may not have time to dry or style afterwards.  If more than 30 minutes late for an appointment, we will need to reschedule so I am not running behind for the next scheduled client. 
** Also, please do not show up more than 5 minutes early for 10 am appointments.  This is the time I use to get ready, eat, and take the dogs out.  When clients show up too early, I often don't get to eat until dinner, so please, no more than 5 minutes early in the morning.
No Show Policy -- I understand sometimes life happens and you can't make it to your scheduled appointment.  Please be courteous enough to call and let me know you can't be here, even if it's five minutes after your appointment time.  I often have people waiting for cancellations, so that time is valuable to me and to other clients.  A no-show without a call will incur a $20 charge. After 3 no-shows, I will no longer schedule appointments.
Refund Policy -- I work hard to make sure when you sit in my chair, I understand what you want, and that expectations, both yours and mine, are reasonable for the end outcome.  I will explain what I think will work or not for your hair, but I will also do what YOU ask, even if I don't think its appropriate for your hair.  If for any reason you are unhappy with my work, please just let me know.  I do not take offense at all.  If you don't like something just let me know and I will fix it, tweak it, tone it, whatever needs to be done to make it right, however you must let me know within one week if you are unhappy.  Waiting too long, your hair will grow out and I wouldn't be able to fix my work, but I would also have to go back and get the new growth as well.   However, your hair will need time to recuperate and settle after a color service.  Approximately 1 week will give time for your hair to settle and give me an accurate picture of what your hair looks like.  I will do my absolute  best to make you happy but if I am unable to do so, I will refund HALF of your service to cover product and time spent.  Having taken the time so explain what I think will work or not work, if you choose to do what I have advised against, adjustments will be at your own cost, and the refund will not be given. 
Child Policy -- Well-behaved children are welcome to come with you if need be.  However I do not have children and my home is not by any means  toddler-proofed.  Particularly in the salon where there are many chemicals or sharp objects, and even cords leading to hot irons, it could be dangerous if little hands wandered too far.  If you know your child loves to explore his or her physical realm, please take the precautions necessary to keep your child safe and either have a stroller or baby seat handy, or leave him or her at home.  Most salons I have worked at have very strict "no children" policies due to the inherent danger with sharp objects, chemicals, and hot tools used in the salon setting.  Please keep this in mind when booking your appointment.  Most of my clients look at time in the chair as "me" time -- a time when they can have an uninterrupted conversation and a nice relaxing shampoo.
