THE HUMAN AURA AND SOUL EXERCISE

      In Lesson One we learned that God is Energy.  All energy has consciousness.  Since all things contain this energy, they also emit energy.  There is a magnetic field surrounding all things which is subject to the Universal Law of Polarity, negative and positive. 

      This energy is light and color and sound and resonates to a rate of vibration.  We are all influenced to varying degrees by the auras of others.  This field reaches around us as far as fifteen feet and in some even more.  The more spiritually evolved a person is, the more extensive the aura is. 

      In Ancient times this sphere of light and color was called the Aureola.  It is also referred to as the halo or nimbus.  This is most readily apparent on paintings of Jesus.  You will see a golden glow around his head.  This is usually how you will see the aura, as a halo around a person's head and shoulders.  The complete aura, however, is a constantly moving mass of energy, revealed in a variety of colors, swirling all about you.  It would be most difficult to differentiate the colors and the meaning of them in different areas of the body where they vary also.  The Rosicrucians believe that the direction of the movement, clockwise or counterclockwise depends upon the time you began to use your psychic ability. A voluntary or trained psychic will show an aura swirling in one direction (clockwise.)  An involuntary psychic, one who has been using this ability since birth, indicates an aura revolving in the opposite direction (counterclockwise.)

      The size and emanation of the aura are determined by your state of evolvement, your emotions and your thoughts.  The intensity of your thoughts determines the size of the radiation.  The aura around a spiritually minded person will extend further and the colors will be clear, beautiful and luminous.

      We want to comment here that all living things have an aura including plants and animals.  The planet has an aura.

It is affected by the vibrations infringing upon it from other planets and, also, the race consciousness of the people who live upon it.  You can now understand why we hope that all people on this planet will only give energy to positive thoughts and words.  The more beautifully we describe our planet, the more beautiful it will be.  Those who believe and vocalize like the voice of doom are energizing this and creating havoc for our planet.

      The aura is forever changing due to the changes we have already stated.  An accomplished aura reader who is interested in body reading can describe the color around any area.  Many healers learn to do this in order to send extra healing energy to an afflicted part that is out of harmony.

Since this is a basic class, we will concentrate on reading the area around the head and shoulders only.

      We also stress the spiritual colors, those that are clear and luminous in the hope that these will be the people who surround you and with whom you will be confronted.  We know there are many books written about the aura and a comprehensive one will show the more opaque colors also.

There is usually a predominating color which tints and rings the entire aura which affects everyone man comes into contact with and is determined by his attitude and predominating thoughts.  These are the colors we will concentrate on in this class.  However, an accomplished aura reader may see more than one color, sometimes many, surrounding someone.  This will give more information and takes additional practice.  A highly spiritual person may appear to have an entire rainbow around them.

      In the process of generating healing, you can picture the aura as being changed to a healing color.  This will add to the wellness of the person, plant or animal.  Yes, you can generate healing to plants and animals; to any living thing.

      Through the power of kinesis, metal can be changed as well.  ie.: spoon bending, reshaping keys etc.

      When we surround ourselves with white light, we are changing our own auras to an aura of protection.  You can change your own aura with concentration depending upon what you feel you need.

      We now realize how much of an effect other people's auras have on us or how we affect those around us.  As you open psychically, your sensitivity to this increases.

      Remember that the aura is magnetic.  When you are in contact with a gloomy, depressed person, whose aura indicates this depression, your own aura is demagnetized.  You then leave this person's company feeling very low and are not usually aware of the reason for this.  You learn to either shield yourself from this with God's white light or completely eliminate this person from contact with you.

      A very spiritual person will have a healing and very uplifting effect upon the people he meets.  They "feel" good to be around.

      It is important here to call your attention to the "psychic vampires."  These are people who drain your energy

(vitality) through your aura.  There is no reason to subject yourself to these people.  We want to mention that a high-powered saleman usually works on the energy of others without realizing it.  Keep yourself shielded to avoid this.

Your energy can be returned by "asking" for this and surrounding yourself with a clear red or rose, the latter being instant energy and temporary.  If you need instant energy to get you through, follow the same procedure.  We want to alert you to the fact that not everyone can tolerate red.  It is a high physical energy color and can put you on "overcharge."  We will list additional colors later in the lesson.

      Do not feed a sympathy-seeker with what they want most and need the least of.  Caring is wonderful but sympathy does not help people take charge of changing their situations.  Remember that even though your words do not reflect sympathy, if you are truly feeling it, your aura will zoom out and feed them.  Your aura reflects thought and truth! If you are going to have a "pity party," make sure you send a card which allows me to R.S.V.P.

      We want to repeat the ways in which the aura can be used; for reading, healing others both in and our of our presence, and self-healing.

      Auras can be read clairvoyantly and clairsentiently as well.  You may just "know" the color.  If two psychic percieve a different color this is due to the standards they believe in but will indicate the same end result.  For those of you who have already been taught aura colors, stay with the colors you have been using in your readings.  The colors we will list in this lesson are for new readers.  You will read many books that state interpretation of color and they don't always agree.  Picture truth as a forever growing thing.  The standards used for our theories in 1900 have been altered by newer theories.  (Remember, it was once an accepted theory that the planet we live on was flat.)  You, therefore, want to find your own truth through study, growth and practice.  Although color standards for the aura vary from book to book, we have not found this to be true about chakra colors.  We have only seen agreement on these.

      Continue to grow with God and seek your own truth.  Soul exercize is an important part of psychic growth!

      Sit before a mirror and focus your attention above the head a little way back from it.  Keep your attention on this area until you see color.  However, if all you see is yellow, you are straining the optic nerve.  Close and relax your eyes and begin again without being hard on yourself.  Many do aura reading with their eyes closed as you are not using your physical eyes anyway...you are using clairvoyance.  Your physical eyes can, however, perceive the etheric double, which appears as a fine, clear white light.  The aura is beyond this.  It will take practice to see these separately.

      Centered above the head you may see a thought form.  This is visible in color and will reveal a projection from the person himself.  When someone wanted a psychic reading, we used to see what looked like an ordinary light bulb above the head.  A variety of other symbols may be revealed in the same manner.  Guides and helpers sometimes show themselves during this practice exercize.  You have much work to do in this field.  Do the mirror exercize frequently.  You will be fascinated by the many things you will see.

      Also, focus your attention on the aura of a plant or animal.  Since everything has an aura, you may perceive the aura around your sofa or other furniture.  Since plants have consciousness, talk to them in order to help them grow.  They respond well to love.  You may also ask them to indicate that they understand you by waving their leaves at you.  They will accomodate you.

      There is a camera today called the Kirlian camera which can photograph the aura and record it for later comparisons.

      Exercize your soul as often as you would the muscles of your body to keep them moving.

      PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!!!

COLOR STANDARDS:

Gold and Silver - indicate high spirituality

White - protection - high spirituality

Violet - healing

Pink - Universal love

Blue - love of mankind

Green - calm and balance - peace

Yellow - highly intellectual - change of thought

Orange - pride

Red - high physical energy - sexual energy

Rose - increased physical energy - temporary

All of the above are clear and luminous.

We have found blue to be a better calming color for children, although green calms adults.

Anger - cloudy yellow-green with red lightening bolts inside

Grey - mild depression

Grey with weeping lines - confusion

Black - deep depression

Black - can also indicate death within a 30 day period*

The last three colors are more dense.

Chakras have a standard of colors of their own.  Since this is a separate study which is quite comprehensive, we do not list them.
