KARMA AND REINCARNATION |

Both Karma and Reincarnation mean "to come back." Karma is the law of cause and effect. Another way of saying it is action and reaction. In a sense, reincarnation is a result of karma. Whatever has not yet been learned caused us to come into a new physical body in order to do so. We will first discuss karma. There are many Bible quotes that refer to this. "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." "As you sow, so shall you also reap." "All things whatsoever you would that men should do unto you, do even unto them." "Love thy neighbor as thyself." Karma refers to all things we think, speak and do, both negative and positive. In other words, what we give out is what we will get. We believe in the New Age thinking that karma is not carried from lifetime to lifetime. Regression work has proven this. We simply come back to learn more. If nothing occurs in current lifetime to stimulate incidents from prior experiences, they will never even come into our awareness on any level. We simply come here to learn. Life, therefore, is nothing more than an acting out of our chosen learning experiences. We pick these before we come into the physical body. We also choose the family in which we will act them out. The soul resides in consciousness around the parents it has chosen and is around at the night of conception and onward through the period of gestation. It is aware of all that transpires with the mother during that time. Because the baby is dependent upon the life support system of the mother at that time, it has no way of filtering information by itself and simply drinks it in. This is called a period of unconsciousness in regression work because the conscious mind is not yet operative and therefore, simply accepts whatever is going on around it, whether negative or positive. It is a time of great vulnerability. We have frequently been able to regress people back to the time when they were an egg or sperm. The descriptions can be very amusing. We have also encountered people who were stuck in the birth canal by commands and the birthing procedure for these was as difficult as their lives later on. It has been most shocking for people to go back to the night of conception to find the female parent talking to someone other than the person they knew as father through the years. Regression has taken people back to a time when they were not in physical bodies. Can you imagine being a lost soul whirling in space unable to find the light? These are usually people who were shocked out of the body in previous lives. More on this later. Since you are born into each incarnation as a pure soul in the image and likeness of God, and you already know the learning experience that you have not yet accomplished as a living being, think of yourself as an actor on stage. Your role in this particular play is to perform this learning experience. In your current lifetime, karma is something you earn and accumulate as a result of actions and words or thoughts. You will usually experience the resolution of your karma more quickly than you are anticipating yet still may not have accomplished your purpose in this lifetime. Had your "mission" been completed, you would probably not have chosen to remain in this body but would go on to a new experience. You would then have created the circumstances that would enable you to leave and go onward. We then proceed through the planes of learning and are ready to be reborn. Although this used to be considered theory, it has been proven through the use of regression. Lost souls and earthbound souls are very close to this plane of consciousness. As we pointed out earlier, a lost soul has been shocked out of the body and until it finds its way to go on, will remain spinning in the atmosphere. Earthbound souls stay close to this plane for different reasons. Some are here because they have learned enough in previous lives to stay close in order to help mankind. This is what they have chosen to do in soul form. Other earthbound souls are here because they also have been shocked out of the body and believe they still belong here. They can be perceived in old houses where they once lived etc. If they are loving, they can be helpful. If they are not, they can be destructive and we then exorcise them out. Let us illustrate how instantly karma can work. You have just finished teasing someone and walk over to a table with the intention of being seated. You then bump your thigh on the table. This is termed, "instant karma." You are a healer and have just generated a healing to another person. You suddenly realize that a physical problem you personally have had, no longer exists. This, again, is karma. Do not think of karma as always being negative. Much comes back to us in very positive form when we are in the service of others. When you are living the life God intended for you, you are helping others, thinking positive thoughts and are balancing your life in a harmonious manner, you will now realize that your needs are well taken care of. In addition to your actual needs, God has given you many plusses. Karma does not necessarily come back to you in the same form in which it is given out. Truth is the real you, the inner you. God knows every lie. When your mouth says something you really do not feel, God knows this. So does another psychic. Therefore, concentrate on truth. It is foolish to do otherwise. Remember that psychics have a built in polygraph. Let us briefly touch on the karma of a planet and race karma. We are all a part of a greater consciousness and affect mankind as a group as well as the individual. Positive karma acts as an influence for the good of mankind. The leaders of our country involve us in race karma. When they plan for peace, they aid our karma. When they decide on war, we are part of this karma as a group and are greatly affected by this also. Anyone who has experienced regression will tell you about the planes between lifetimes. It is here that we learn all the things we could have handled in a better manner in this life experience and more about spiritual wisdom. When we leave the body, the familiars, family members who have crossed over, are there to help us, in consciousness. We perceive based on our expectations. If you think of yourself as worthy, your concept of heaven will be acted out. If you do not, the stage is set for an enactment of your hell concept. However, this is temporary and you will then proceed to the planes in order to learn what you could have handled in a better way. Like all rules, there are always exceptions to be cited. The soldier who has been killed in a war is a victim of race karma, the larger karma, and has not fulfilled the learning experience chosen. He is instantly reborn into a life similar to the one he just left in order to complete his learning. All Universal laws work together and here the law of free will is in operation. The suicide is also in a similar situation. If this knowledge was understood, we would have fewer people committing this act. After all, who would want to be reborn into the same hell they just tried to escape and have to go through the buildup to it all over again. Since we are here to learn and overcome, there is only one way out of a situation and that is to go through it and solve it. We cannot go around it. It is the combination of race karma and individual karma that determines the result. This is why, for example, in a bus accident, some are killed and some survive. We know that reincarnation means being reborn in a physical body. Regression proves that we go through many, many diversified lifetimes as a part of our learning. Some of them have been quite dull and some quite eventful. The man who ego is greatly out of proportion, is in for a shock when he enters regression. He expects to have been a manu, king or glamorous prince in some exotic circumstance and goes on to discover a lifetime in which he was a bored housewife, perhaps on a poverty-stricken farm, who has died a lonely recluse. The procedure can be very ego-destroying. As an aside, in order to get your ego back in proportion, try the following exercise. Go through a week without saying the word "I." Use other ways to vocalize such as "this person" or the "I am." We have been raised in a very ego-oriented society and it will give you difficulty in the beginning. The word "we" is much more appropriate anyway since we do nothing alone. There are many souls who have not experienced physical living. They are usually the high masters, who in their pure form, are here to teach us much. You may, also, hear the term "walk-in." The theory is that these may possibly be souls from other planets who have come to help us. They are usually social misfits until they learn our ways but can teach us nonetheless. They frequently enter a body after a bad accident or the like. Let us now discuss the purpose of it all. In order to go on to perfection, each soul must experience a completion of many educational happenings. It may take one, three, ten or more physical situations to do so for each completion. Since your soul is all that you are, we now in our advanced thoughts contemplate, "How can we do this?" By being born again and again in this physical body. Every time we change the errors in our thinking, remove negative thoughts and replace them with positives, we are being born again. The more this process is activated, the shorter the span to perfection. You can eliminate many unnecessary lifetimes in this manner. Happy Birthday!
