| This is the final (sort of) result of my efforts. I ran out of 1000 grit sandpaper, so this is all I can do for today. Unfortunately, you can EASILY see the border between filler and hood. There are also many divots in the fiberglass that I will need to fill a little later. In case anyone's wondering, yes, the recess is supposed to be there in the lip of the hood. That's the way e28's were styled. Have I said that I love (LOVE) my car? I'll get a new hood free of defects at some point, but I'm too involved with paying for school to do this right now. |
