| BMW Fender Rust - Rear | |||||

| This is a picture of the driver's side rear fender. This car suffered a major hit in the left rear quarter and was repaired some years ago. That's why this is as badly rusted as it is. You can see the white areas around the bare metal that show where previuos body filler has been applied by me. You can also see the poor quality paint job I did a couple years ago in the reflection of the flash. I painted the car myself and even though it is OBVIOUSLY an amatuer job, I have always felt proud of trying (and doing) something for myself. I'll be sure to take more pictures when I paint it again. Oh yeah- you can probably see more of my inexperienced handiwork in other close photos. A good paint job should not produce the "lemon peel" effect that I've got over most of the car (think of the texture of a lemon). |
