GURPS Humanx was the second GURPS worldbook I ever got (and I didn't get GURPS space until well afterwards). I used parts of it for a camapign back around 93/94. Oddly, I had never read any books in the series when I picked up the GURPS book, and Have only read two since then. You may want to add an "About the Humanx series" link and page for those who aren't that familiar with the setting -- it doesn't have to be long.

ANSWERS: < Do you have any ideas how the UC might be made to work ? > Probably U.C. would be similar to a non profit international organization like United Nations UNICEF , F.A.O. etc.. There aren't many official data about it, but you can ask directly to the auth r (www.alandeanfoster.com). I'm working to publish an unofficial U.C. organization scheme...so stay tuned. U.C. has to supervise the federal fleet of the Humanx Commonwealth. Probably each planet of the Commonwealth pays federal taxes for this purpose ( it's sounds familiar....) .
