BIOGRAPHY

The present line up of THE GURRIERS (formally known as Jaded) have been together for 4 years now. Originally Colin and Declan, who were neighbourhood pals, formed a band and started covering songs from their favorite bands. Declan, who knew Alan from guitar lessons and who was also at the same school , asked him if he would cover on the bass for a few gigs as their previous bass player "died in a bizzare gardening accident". Luckily for the guys Alan liked the band so much that he decided to stay! From humble beginings trying to scratch together an original sound, the band progressed, learning from other more experianced musicians as they went.

The band are out of work and college and are working on new material for their next album, which will be recorded in Pheonix, Arizona later this summer by top producer and song writer, Gardner Cole. In the past, Gardner has writen songs for artists such as Madonna, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen and Vonda Shepard. The guys have signed with the Los Angelas based record company.The band are flying to L.A. within the comning weeks ie: November 2000.The new album will be recorded in LA and mixed down in Pheonix.
